Business Leadership: My Style

We are the drivers of all agency activities.

We are accountable to both our clients and our agency teams.

We partner with the client every day to build innovative ideas that will drive business results.

After all - successful clients are happy clients, and happy clients are profitable clients.

BUT TO ME, BUSINESS LEADERSHIP IS SO MUCH MORE.

Each day is an opportunity to:

  • Form new and rewarding relationships

  • Learn something new

  • Mentor someone just starting out in the industry

  • Flex my business, creative and strategic brain, and sometimes all three at once

  • HAVE FUN

One of the most fulfilling aspects of my role as Business Lead is mentoring and supporting the growth of junior team members. I currently oversee two Account Executives, and have made it a priority to create meaningful learning opportunities for them both. Recently, I brought one of them along to two major shoots, empowering her to serve as the primary contact for producers and clients on-site. With my guidance, she confidently navigated responsibilities across stakeholders, creatives, and logistics, deepening her skill set and client-facing experience. I also brought an AE to our Centrum activation in Los Angeles, where she built strong vendor relationships and began taking a more active role in client communications and day-to-day operations. To foster cross-peer support, I encourage them to connect beyond project work—initiating monthly team outings to nurture a collaborative and growth-oriented culture.

I often volunteer to serve on our agency panel for college visit days as well, hoping to share my real-world experiences and inspire the younger advertising generation.

Mentorship

Driving Agency Culture

Community, Collaboration, and Compassion

I actively contribute to our agency’s culture by showing up, building connections, and supporting others—both formally and informally. I am the Chair of our Jewish ERG (“ERGBERG”), supporting the Jewish community (and our allies) of BBDO NY through thoughtfully curated programs, volunteer work, and educational initiatives.

I am a dedicated member of our agency softball team, Sons of Pitches. As a lifelong softball player, it’s great to get back out on the field and have some fun with the team!

I make it a priority to be attuned to the well-being of those around me. Whether someone is off their game or going through something tough, I check in—offering my time, a listening ear, or whatever support they need to feel grounded and seen.

Beyond the Day-to-Day

I lead the Smokey Bear pro bono account, a project that brings together talent from multiple agency teams and disciplines. It’s a role I value not only for the creative challenge but for the chance to foster cross-functional relationships and collaboration throughout the agency.

I have also raised my hand to participate in multiple Pitches, immersing myself to get smart on the business, forming relationships with potential clients and, often time most importantly, remaining a cheerleader for the creative teams as we push through those final hours.
